The Luxor Hotel is named after the celebrated city in Egypt and houses one of the more interesting exhibits in town: King Tut's Tomb. This s a full-scale replica of the famous treasures found within the Pharaoh's burial pyramid. Adorned with gold leaf and faux jewels, the displays will intrigue young and old alike.
This is a do-it-yourself tour. Each visitor is given a cassette player and is allowed to walk him/herself through the labyrinth of exhibits.

There is also a guest appearance of the prestigious Louvre museum -- five statue replicas depicting famous French historical figures adorn the facade at the north corner of the hotel.

The Arc de Triomphe is a two-thirds replica of the original and stands sentinel outside the front of the hotel. The "Arc" chronicles the victories of Napoleon Bonaparte and was originally erected to honor soldiers who fought in the Battle of Austerlitz. This is one of the best photo opportunities in town.
In addition, there is the Eiffel Tower Experience. This is a tour that allows visitors to ascend the one-half size replica of the original.

True to its name, The Venetian includes an attraction sure to draw the attention and capture the imagination of all visitors: gondola rides.
Located on the second floor above the casino are the Grand Canal Shoppes. Under a faux painted sky and cloud ceiling, sightseers can board an authentic gondola and go for a ride.
Each gondola seats four people and comes with an authentically dressed gondolier. Passengers lucky enough to get a gondolier who can sing will be serenaded with an Italian aria. The acappella sounds fill the cavernous walls of the Canal Shoppes, delighting and surprising all who are near.
The ride is 10 to 12 minutes long but takes the wayfarers far and away in that short time.
The price for a ride is $15 per adult, $7.50 for children 12 and under. A private two-passenger gondola is available for $60. hours of operation are 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday. and 10:00 a.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday. For more information, call (702) 414-1000.
Outdoor gondola rides are also available. The price for the outdoor gondola is $12.50 per adult, $5 for children 12 and under. A private two-passenger gondola is available for $50. Hours of operation are 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday. and 10:00 a.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday. The outdoor ride operates on a weather permitting basis.
