 Summer Solstice in Anchorage
Alaska is known as "The Land of the Midnight Sun" and summer brings exceptionally long days and glorious sunsets. June 21 is the longest day, when Anchorage residents enjoy more than 19 hours of daylight. It is a time for celebration, and there are many weekend events and activities around the city to enjoy.
